On Sunday, February 4^th, The Rev. Karl Hollibaugh was installed as the pastor of St. James Lutheran Church in Gonzales, Louisiana. After a little more than one year of Rev. Hollibaugh serving as the vacancy pastor, and with much prayer and many meetings, God has blessed St. James with our new Shepherd.

On February 13^th, during Ascension Lutheran Child Development Center’s Tuesday morning chapel service, a first-time-ever event took place. One of the babies from the CDC was baptized during the service, and all 30-plus kids from ages two to four were in awe of the proceedings.
