Members of St. Paul’s in Cullman, AL, loaded a trailer with food, water, cleaning and hygiene supplies. They drove the trailer to Trinity Lutheran Church in Baton Rouge, LA, and helped stock Camp Restore at Trinity Oaks. St. Paul’s Monday morning Bible study group spearheaded this project. Sheryl and Jessie Keller helped load the trailer, along with Linda and Darrel Bailey, who took the trailer to Baton Rouge with their sweet puppy, Faith.
They got to experience first-hand how grateful folks are for even a jar of peanut butter. Lois Dunkle donated a handmade quilt that the Sew & Sews group made. It was given to a 10-year old young lady who lost everything and was displaced. She and her family were staying with Darrel and Linda’s daughter and her husband.
We are so grateful we could help these folks!
