Vocational Exploration and Growth of Church Workers
 
 Through the support of Wheat Ridge Ministries and Thrivent Financial, vocational exploration and growth resources are available in the Southern District. A pilot program under the direction of Rev. Dr. Jan Case (an ordained LC-MS minister and a vocational rehabilitation counselor) enables church workers to initiate an exploration of their Christian vocation and take steps toward enriching their vocational roles. Wheat Ridge Ministries is offering assistance to Lutheran congregations that provide sabbatical leaves for their pastors and other full-time professional church workers. Grant guidelines and a downloadable grant application are available at www.wheatridge.org/sabbaticalgrants
