Youth Ministry

The Southern District works in tandem with LCMS Youth Ministry, helping youth to grow in leadership skills, serving, along with sharing resources on training experiences for youth and youth ministry leaders. Youth ministry is recognized as a vital connection in helping persons grow in their faith journey.

Struggling With God

“Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”

Struggle . . . who needs it? Isn't life full enough of stress? Struggle is certainly not one of my favorite words when thinking of the Christian walk.
