The newly adopted District realignment includes several changes as it relates to nomination and election of Southern District Board of Director members.

Nominations for commissioned ministers are now open as the new election process calls for the Commissioned Minister to the Board of Directors to be elected at the Conference prior to the Convention.  The Southern District Teachers' Conference is slated for November 23-25 in New Orleans.  Nominations will be accepted through October 23, 2008.
